The only one I can say I've done is taken a bath outside in a tub...my tub was a round galvanized  metal one.

  9. YOu can kind of tell when some people are of the same era/generation, we tend to have done simular or some of the same things and if not we have heard of them.

I have made butter the way they did in the 1800's with a churn when I was a kid. I was also taught how to do it by shaking it in a mason jar.

I have also taken a bath in a tub outside in the yard.

Although I haven't hitchhiked accross the country. I have know people who have. And although I didn't stick my thumb out, I have hitched rides at home in rural Missouri where and when it was safe and usually the person who picked us (yes, "us", I never was alone) most always knew my parents.

I've chopped wood with my dad as a kid and also while pregnant with my son. We had a woodstove BUT I WAS not very far along.

If I had made one of these lists, I would never have remembered these things if I hadn't have read yours.
