MRI

I went for my MRI this morning. I will find out the results next week. I have a headache from it. It was the open view kind. It would not have mattered to me if it was the closed one. I do not get scared of close in places. It was so cold and noisy. I had to lay there for 20 minutes not moving at all then I get stuck with a needle and given contrast and then lay there for another 20 minutes without moving. I hope I do not have to repeat that anytime soon.

  1. I had an MRI on my knee not long ago.  Seemed it took forever, and I couldn't move my knees the whole time.  The doctor just wanted to make sure my problem was arthritis, and it was.

  3. I sure hope all will be fine. years ago at MD Anderson in Texas my husband, had to have a full body MRI and it was the closed kind. He said it was awful and didn't want to ever do it again. He had to stay still too. He said it was hard. But aren't we glad that we have these things to find out what is wrong so we can get it fixed. I will be praying for you. and yours

  6. Hope your MRI comes out good. I had to have one of the closed in kind once. I had to be still for 45 minutes. I had to keep giving myself a pep talk because I refused the tranquillzer they offered. Paula
