Today is the 4th of July. It has been a wonderful day. We got up this morning and I cooked breakfast. I then started on fixing dinner. Well I never did cook it. My hunny said how about we go fishing!? So I said sure! We loaded up, dug some worms from out of the barn and then headed to Walmart to get some crickets. Then he said why don't we stop at Kentucky Fried Chicken and get a bucket then you won't have to cook.
So off we went to a picnic and a day of fishing. it was so hot!!! The fish were not biting and we were sweating!
We were so happy to head home. It was a relief to get in the cool! But you know what, it was so nice to just get away with my family.
I hope everybody had a happy fourth!
sounds like a PERFECT day. I need some slow lazy days myself. I love KFC too. We did take it a little slower and now that Todds side jobs are over iwth well that will help. He can come home and rest. Lori
