Update on Precious
The vet just left. He came out and checked up on Precious. He said that she is healing good. No more shots for now. He said that the place on her neck may fester back up again and burst. He said not to worry if it does unless she gets listless. He also said the places on her ribs may never go away but that they should not interfer with riding her again. The biggest problem in riding her again is the place that is high up on her back, it is where the saddle sits. Hopefully it will go away. I will never get rid of her. She will never go anywhere where there is the possiblity of being hurt again.

ReplyDeleteI know you are sooo very happy to have this news. Lots of TLC on your part is a lot of it. Animals know who is good and loves them and who does not. I am very happy for you.
ReplyDeleteI love horses, too. We are involved with re-run, finding homes for retired Thoroughbreds. Most former racers get sent to the slaughterhouse. We've found three homes for horses since January!
