Cats

Last night after I signed off I was watching several of my cats here in the livingroom. Bunny, the little white one, was playing with Blackie's tail.  Blackie is my big 2 year old tomcat. He was whipping it back and forth. Now anyone that has ever had a kitten knows that is automatically something that will be attacked by a kitten. It was so funny. Sebastian, my old cat, was laying about a foot from Blackie asleep on his back. All at once Blackie jumped on Sebastian and started beating on him. Blackie had Sebastian at a disadvantage, clawing at his belly with those powerful back legs. The screaming was terrible. They were going at it in the hall, fur was flying. I was yelling and kicking at Blackie to no avail. Suddenly a small, fluffed out ball of mottled gray fur goes flying by me. It was Susie.  Susie is Blackie's mama. She jumped on Blackie and started tearing him up. His fur was flying then. He got off of Sebastian and Susie stood in between them. Everytime Blackie moved she would start slashing at him. She checked Sebastian over from head to toe after I got Blackie out of the house.

Susie weighs all of 5 pounds, Blackie is 12 pounds. We call her our demon cat. She is mean but when she loves she gives her all. She loves Sebastian. He is neutered so they have never mated but in every sense of the word, they are mates. LOL She goes and gets pregnant and he slaps her, but everytime she delivers a litter, he is there. They wash each other's face, eat together, and play together. He never hurts any of the kittens, just growls at them. When they get old enough to eat food, he sits there at food dish until they have eatten their fill.

I love my babies. They each have their own personality.

  3. Yikes! I love my dog. She's so mellow. Lucky is a lunatic though. (John's dog.) He shreds newspaper and John being so cool says,"Did you get the sport's scores?" and just cleans it up. At this moment we're talking about obiedence traning.  Lol. Still I'm wondering who for? John or Lucky?
