Friday

Ok summer is moving too fast already. I cannot believe it has been a week since school was out. Today I signed Brook up for day camp while I have jury duty. Hopefully I get dismissed from it early. Not sure of what is coming up. I am afraid I will be picked this time around. I have no idea of what has been happening! When the bad stuff comes on I try to turn it off or do something else. I know silly. Kind of like hiding your head in the sand. I know there is bad stuff out there. I lived it enough in my own life. I want to hear good stuff. I do believe that if you hear more good stuff and do more good stuff, then the bad stuff quits taking over.

Well I fight for computer time now. 4 people wanting on it all the time. So bare with me if things get a bit sparing.

This evening after Candiac got home, I went out and rode my tractor. Hooked up the bush hog and started cutting. I got the very front field cut. If no rain I will start on the back field tomorrow or Monday.

Patches is doing a good job of eating up the overgraown places in the yard. He is getting better about me leading him on a leash too.

Memorial Day coming up. They are predicting rain for our area on Monday. I am BBQing ribs on Sunday. I think Candiac has invited a few people down. No word on if they are coming yet. No matter I will cook all I want! LOL I like cooking. I like people to eat it. I like to eat it. Oh dear, now I am hungry!

Not sure of where I intended to go here. Just started wandering around. Well time to put Patches up. See y'all around. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Dell has some really cheap computers.  I think it's time you became a two-computer household.

  2. I have many relatives who had farms as I grew up.  I never lived in the state both sides of my family came from, but we visited every chance we got.  A bar-b-que on the farm on a holiday weekend with folks coming over takes me right back to scenes of my childhood.  Good memories, for sure!  Have a wonderful and safe Holiday, Celeste, and think of me as you eat one of those ribs, LOL!

  7. We just finished school yesterday and as much as I am looking forward to it, I know in a week or so's time, I hear the "there's nothing to do" routine.  BBQ'ing sounds good, hope you have a wonderful weekend!
