Silly me

I made a delicious dinner today. I made some fried okra, boiled potatoes, and teriykai chicken wings. I also heated up some hush puppies. Well, at least, I thought I did.  Turns out they were mini corn dogs! Silly me. I guess that will teach me to label my freezer bags!

    sounds delicious but I have absolutely no idea what hush puppies are (they are shoes over here) and no idea what corn dogs are either lolol

    At least you had a surprise. lol When someone I knew got married while they were on their honeymoon friends went into their house and tore off the labels off all their can goods. They had a surprise for supper everynight. Paula

    The corndog incident is funny.  Fried okra?  I will eat it any chance I get.  I'm a yankee now, I guess, since I've lived in Ohio almost 18 years.  But nothing beats southern cooking.
