farm equipment

Theses are pictures I took last Sunday when we went to Praters Mill. Praters Mill is a craft festival that is held twice a year at the Old Praters Mill in Dalton, GA. It is on Mother's Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend. Crafters from all over come to it along with a large number of local crafters.

Above are pictures of old farm equipment. They made life easier for farmers back in the day. I know that farmers are glad that those pieces of equipment have been improved on!

  1. Reminds me of some of the old clapped out tractors I drove when I lived in Israel.

  6. Daddy had a georgie stock (georgia stock) that he used to pull the plow behind our jenny.  Well, the old wood finally rotted and busted.  Daddy used the metal bars off an old see-saw glider on my swingset to rig it to use!  -  Barbara
