Today has been a much better day except for the rain. It does make my bones ache!

Yesterday was a busy day. My daughter came over early in the morning and we just made a day of it. We did not do a lot but we did do it together. We had plans to do some things around the house. That kind of fell through. We headed out to Fort Oglethorpe and went to Walmart there. She was looking for a printer for her computer and had a small amount of money to spend. We did not find what we were looking for there. Next we stopped and got something to eat. After that we headed out to Chickamauga to see about getting a baby calf.

Going down the road we finally see the driveway we were looking for, right past a field that had some goats in it. We pulled in and there and saw a couple. They showed us a cute little baby goat called Opal. Back we got in out car and we headed down the road to where the cows were. After arriving there they started calling the cows while putting some feed out for them. The feed barrels were in a small area. The cows came running in to get to the feed. In came this cute little black calf smaller than the rest. It's mama is old and cannot provide enough milk to help it grow big. I decided that I would get it and provide a good home for it and then give it a nice cold place to spend it's afterlife in.(that means I will eat it)

I suppose you are wondering about the picture on top. That is a picture of Terrie and me. Terrie is the person I am getting the calf from. Terrie is also another J-Lander that I have finally had the pleasure of meeting! Her journal is Farm Life. I was so glad to finally meet her! It is funny. We live so close but have never met until yesterday! We have talked but that was it. She is so nice. I met her hubby also. He is a good one too!

That's it for now. See yall later.
