I am not in an up mood today. Yesterday I felt angry all day and today just feels like crap. It will pass but it always leaves its mark. I don't talk a lot about what goes on in my mind even though my journal's name says my thoughts. I don't want to think some of my thoughts much less see them in print. I will be okay. This will pass. It always does.

ReplyDeleteSorry you were angry all day yesterday. That is no fun at all. We all have thoughts sometimes that we are not proud of, but that is normal and the thoughts pass in time allowing us to return to our more normal thought process. Don't be ashamed you have these thoughts, just keep them where they belong and don't act on them. It is not thoughts that get us in trouble, it is actions. You have a kind heart and a gentle spirit, so let these thoughts go and hopefully the mark they leave will not be lasting. I do hope your day today gets better.

I do wish AOL would let us type in our own moods. Most of the time the choices they offer having nothing to fit my mood, so I just choose "quiet" or "chillin'". Being iced in has not been good for my grumpy self, but the ice is leaving now. What you and I need is either a good horseback ride or a little motorcycle trip! Unfortunately, from the looks of the weather forecast, neither of those is going to happen for me.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better, I hate 'moody' days too.
ReplyDeleteSorry your mood is not upbeat today....and if you say it will pass..I respect your judgment....Hope all is better for you today...I can understand where you are coming from...wish I had some magic words to say....to help the situation...keep strong in your OWN faith....in yourself....Hugs from KY....Ora

Depression can take so many forms, and 'tis the season for darkness on a variety of levels. Pamper yourself a bit-make cookies you like, drink hot chocolate, take a long hot bath, do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself. I certainly understand and empathize. Margo

Odd....anger and angry moods leave a mark on us. We all have days when we give sway to those feelings. And yes, thank God our thoughts don't have to have a voice. Hope things soon seem brighter. - Barbara
ReplyDeletehugs to you...we are here if you ever need us...
ReplyDeleteI am soo very sorry that you are feeling this way. I have these days and I don't know what to make of them. Don't know why I have them or what brings them on. Seems like you know more about why you have them. I pray that you will work this out soon. Hugs,
ReplyDeleteI hope by now the mood has passed and you're feeling much more yourself.

Oh, see, I always like to pitch a fit in my journal. It helps me to laugh the mood away.
