cuts, walking and stuff

"A mistake only becomes a failure when you repeat it."

How is everyone today? Pat is doing good with his finger. It looked horrible. It was a jagged cut about 2 inches long. Brook's ear is better. And I am not thirsty anymore.

I have been walking 3-4 times a week lately. My new habit will be walking 5 times a week even if I have to walk alone. We have been going 2.2 miles on the road and my driveway added to it makes 2 and a half miles for me. We are working on cutting our time down for our walk. I suspect that I will have to increase my time on the days we do not walk together.  Our time is slow. We are barely walking ove 2.5 miles an hour. I would like to get our time up to 3.5 MPH. At least I am walking!

Next month I start a new class. We will be studying advance techniques in Bo Staff. I will set up a video so yall can see how well(or poorly) I am doing. Brook will not be taking the next class with me. She has a lot on her plate right now with school and the black belt test.

Saturday Pat and I will be leaving town for a few days. I will not have access to Internet(no laptop). We will be taking a much needed break from everything. Going to ride the bike to Helen and wherever else our heart desires.

Okay time to get busy. I need to cook and clean like all good domestic goddesses do.

  2. The other day I ran into my old GM on my way back from the gym and he was shocked that I walk there (it's only 2.5 miles away).  I told him that people drive there to walk on a stationary treadmill for five miles, at least this way, I get to see things and actually GET somewhere.
