so upset.
I am so upset. I baked a cherry pie and left it on a cake stand to cool and eat later. Well I had to go pick up cookie dough at Brook's school and when I cam e back the pie was a mess. It seems that a cat had snuck in and proceeded to eat and walk all over the pie. The pie is destroyed. I can't eat something that a cat has been walking on. You can't wash it off. I was so upset I wanted to kill that cat. It did not do it because it was hungry. These are well fed cats. It did it just because. I ma so upset. I had found a recipe for a sugar free pie. Do you know how much cherries cost? I was really looking forward to it now I can't have any. Suggestions on how to fix it won't do. I threw it out for the dog to eat. I can't let Pat know. Cherry is one of his favorite pies. No responce necessary. I just needed to let some steam off so I don't hurt the cat. I am so upset. I know it is just a pie.

Oh, my! Try the best behaved doberman you ever saw. Neighbor brings over T-bone steaks for the grill. He and hubby "doctor" them in the kitchen. Then for some reason, sit them on the lower kitchen table instead of leaving on the counter. When we all walked back in Maggie Mae was finishing off the 3rd of 4! They were at her exact height. Suppose she thought they were some sort of gift? Or was the temptation too strong? All I know is we have T-bones 3 times a year IF we are lucky. - Barbara
ReplyDeleteSorry....!!!! and no...I wouldn't tell Pat LOLOL...those cats just might be dead meat if you did....LOL...hugs...Ora
ReplyDeleteI know your frustration and so sorry you lost your pie. I had a big, old, long-haired gray cat -- Tom -- who once got up on the kitchen counter and walked through a large mixing bowl with pasta sauce cooling in it. The whole thing, meatballs, sausage and all had to be dumped. The only good thing? I got to give the damned cat a bath. Justified torture. :)
ReplyDelete(((C))) Been there... Kathy's comment cracked me up...justified torture. ;) C. http://journals.aol.com/gdireneoe/thedailies
ReplyDeleteDamn pussy! My cat used to like chocolate ice cream, gods forbid you had some, she would take it right from your mouth. Honestly!
