busy

What a day this has been! This is the second time I have written this entry. No AOL did not lose it I did. I highlighted everything to change the font And hit the wrong button and everything went poofed!
So now lets see, my day was busy and not busy. I did not get any housework done except for a swishing of the bathroom and one load of whites done.
This morning I went to the feed store and bought some horse feed then on to the grocery store for some people food. I got a great deal on bone less chicken breasts. Gotta love it when they mark down the meat! So anyway I do a bit of shopping. Bought me a couple of new pot holders for Valentine's Day next year. LOL Pink heart shaped pot holders. I like keeping my pot holders in season! LOL. I get home and take care of the hungry animals and that included Pat. Then I fixed lunch, packed it and sent Pat off to work. After Brook cam home from school, we got ready to head back to the school. She had a parent teacher conference today. Poor Brook is so upset with all the stuff going on she is getting into trouble at school. Not real bad but enough that the teacher is concerned. She is lying and just generally getting into trouble. I hate seeing what this is doing to her. After that we went to Pizza Hut and she did her homework before our pizza go tthere. I was real good with it. I ordered thin crust, half the cheese and mushrooms no meat. So anyway we eat then go to Tae Kwon Do. Before heading in there I go to the Goodwill store that is next door to the studio. I find what I have been looking for! I have been looking for a green vase big enough to use as an umbrella stand. Tonight it was there. I knew if I waited long enough that someone would give one up! I buy that and head to Tae. Today us moms got a real workout. In addition to the stretching and punching, kicking was added. Yes kicking. Not just a few kicks, but 500 kicks. Yes you read that right 500 kicks. We did 5 different kicks, 50 per leg for a total of 500. I can't belive I did it but I did! I am proud of myself. After the first 200 I had to take a break ever 10 -15 kicks but I kept on until I completed them all! Now does anyone know how to fix rubber legs? Today was a full hour for our workout. I am loving it! It is helping to keep me motivated to lose this weight and get myself in a healthier state of body. Now I am home and I am tired! While writing this entry a few things happened. I got a phone call. Tomorrow afternoon I will be getting 2 piglets delivered here. They are 8 weeks old and just weaned. I am going to have to get out there and tramp down the weeds growing in the pen I made for them. they are too little to do it themselves. Ahem.... theses are 6 foot weeds LOL. They are a gift from my son in law. Looking forward to fresh sausage and ham. OOOO and ribs, I love ribs.
The next thing that happened was Big Daddy came in the house and our Blackie is scared of him. Well He growls at Big Daddy all the time, this time Big Daddy jumped him this time. I broke it up before any damage was done, but that will not be tolerated in the house. I know they will get into it but I prefer it to be done outside. That way Blackie has a chance to get away from him! Blackie is a scardy cat. I really need to get him fixed because he can't do a god job of defending himself. After being fixed other cats willnot feel threatened by him. I have enough cats that it is expensive to get them all fixed. I have to take it a bit at a time. Eventually they will all be fixed. So that si it for now. I am going to do a bit of reading, maybe play a game or 2 and go to bed. Take care everyone.

  6. My heart just aches for Brook...if my Chancey was in that situation I don't know what I would do...or how I would handle it...you and Brook are in my prayers...I cry now just thinking of all the harm that little angel will have to endure...well now I am not going to accept it...Brook will be strong...she will rise above all that is happening to her just now...she will prevail...I believe that will happen...in the Name of our Lord Jesus...He will make it so....God Bless and hugs...Ora

  8. Next time, hit CTRL+Z right away before you do anything else, and you might get your entry back. It's always worth a try! It's the equivalent of the "undo" button.

    Those piggies sound really cute!

  9. Nice, newsy note here!  I keep thinking of Brook and her situation, hoping that whatever happens, Brook will be fine.  Piglets?  How cool.  My sister raises two each year and they are just the cutest little things ... until they get big ...then they are just big and dee-lish!

Nice background.  Now how'd you do that?

  13. I am very proud of how well you're doing with the exercises at Tae. It's is not surprising that Brook is acting out at school.........that's her only release. I pray that there is a way for her to stay with you, she's happy there, and you're there for her. She doesn't know any other life, and shouldn't have to if you ask me! .....MMMMMMM my mouth waters just thinking about how yummy those ribs will be!!  Take care hun, we'll chat later, Love You! XOXO

  15. You do the same thing I do.  I bought Christmas cards already for next year and addressed the  ones of people I thought would not move.  Got new Christmas decor for next year and am gonna get some more stuff for valentine's as well.  Great minds think alike. lol  Wow! that was some work out.  WTG!  Love the background you wrote your entry on.  I have saved some backgrounds and they did not come out on my journal.  I will learn someday.lol  Take care and have a good weekend.  Keep on enjoying your time with Brook.  TerryAnn.
