The weather this morning is for the pits! They are predicating that we will have an ice storm. Right now it is raining and the temperature is dropping. 35 degrees right now, almost at the freezing mark. The wind chill has it at 26 degrees. Now I know there are plenty of people out there with colder weather so I don't complain too much. But ICE? I hate ice. IT is so dangerous!
My rooster is pretty smart. He has watched the cats come up to the door and knock on it when they want in to eat or just want in. So now he is pecking at the door. He will stand there and start popping the door with his beak. He thinks he is part cat anyway. So my little piggies did not get here yesterday after I spent 3 hours clearing out the pigpen. It was not an easy job. It was full of weeds. Not just any weeds but 6 feet high weeds with thorns! I don't know why they did not arrive. But I am ready for them when they do! Note.... I need to make sure old freezer is empty to load it up with day old bread from bread store. It is cheap and a good way to keep the pigs sweet!( By sweet I mean the meat!) Appartently there is some kind of a mixup with the pigs. Somebody sold pigs that did not belong to them and the guy that bought the pigs is supposed to give us our pigs back. We will see. So no more on pigs until I actually see them in my pen.
So back to the weather sort of. I did a quiz this morning that I found in the journal I live in Soap Land. I do not agree with everything that it says. I will admit that part of it is true.

I love the picture of the rooster eating with the cats! The chickens at the place I used to board Boo used to share his food with him. It was cute. I don't know why I never took a picture of it. Probably because it was BD (Before digital <LOL>)
