Brook
I forgot to tell everybody this. I took Brook to the doctor yesterday to have her shoulder checked out. It was not the best of news. She is healing very slowly. The bones have moved but not enough that they are going to operate YET. She still has to wear the sling. It was stressed to her that she MUST be still. She has a big problem with that. She was pretty upset. She looked at the xrays and saw what we were talking about. It could be longer than 3 months at this rate of healing. She is so disappointed. She cried.

Poor kid; this is the sort of thing we adults would gladly take on ourselves if we could, so the child could be happy. Hey, we're going to be heading to Georgia Thanksgiving week; what are the chances of us meeting someplace for half an hour or so?
ReplyDeleteBless her heart.
ReplyDeletePoor Kid! Give her a hug and an I'm sorry from me.... :(
ReplyDeletePatience at that age is not a top priorities...but understand...and I am sure Brooke does too...just hard when you are so young...and active....hugs...Ora

ReplyDeleteoh no, poor Brook! it must be hard for her.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear. poor Brook-is there any reason they can give about why she's healing so slowly? Have they suggested physical terapy of any kind, for now or later? Margo
