Brook

Well we had to go back to the hospital with Brook today. She fell at school and was hurting. She broke what bond had formed and the bone has moved again. This time she is in a sling that does not allow her to move her arm at all. She is back at square one with the healing process. Actually a  bit worse, the bone is almost puncturing the skin. We now have to watch for any redness at all. If there is any we are to go straight to ER. She will now have to wear this sling until at least Christmas.

    I know it is so hard for a child to be still. Hope she is able to heal properly and I know it isn't easy for you to have to be the one to keep reminding her. Paula

    What a heartbreaking developement.  I just feel so bad for Brook.  I know how much worry and heartache this injury must be causing you, too.  Let her know she is in our thoughts and prayers.

    I am so sorry!  Poor Brook.  You did say that it was going to be hard to keep her still enough to let it heal.  I hope there are no further complications.

    Poor Brook..she has broken more bones and had more mishaps than one girl should!!  Praying it heals and she will be back to normal soon!  Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!  Hugs,TerryAnn
