It's my party

Anybody remember the line it's my party and I'll cry if I want to? Well that's me today. Pat finally remembered it was my birthday and printed off a card for me about an hour before time for him to leave for work. I received a few e-cards from some people I know on line and one from my niece. NO cake and ice cream, no meals, no presents not even any Happy Birthdays. I guess that is a sign I am middle aged. No wants to acknowledge birthdays at my age. I guess I will have to wait until I am old, then maybe......

Anyway I am giving myself a present. Tonight I am going to start taking a weight loss exercise class at taekwondo. What a way to celebrate my birthday. LOL Getting hot and sweaty without having fun.

  4. Cliff would never remember my birthday, except I start reminding him about a week ahead.  I don't expect any surprise gifts; I just intend to eat out three or four times because it's my birthday!  He has gotten me cards before, but not usually.  I'm not all that big on cards anyway.  Just so he treats me good all the time.

  6. I LOVE your present for yourself!!  I woulda sent you a card. Forive?  Rob asks me about 3 or 4 times a year when is my birthday.  I tell him.  Next time, I ask if I should write it down for him . . .  To tell you the truth I guess I'm old . . . I doesn't matter . . . but somehow he gets the day from Andrea.  Happy Belated Birthday, my friend.  In His love,  Penny   http://journals.aol.com/firestormkids04/FromHeretoThere

  10. I remember that song very well, and I am sorry Pat did not organize what you deserve-a band and balloons and candy and popcorn and all your friends(yes, online friends as well) to surprise you at your weight loss class with a HUGE cake and some BIG present(equal to the pool table at least). Of course your class might have been a tad bit disrupted-but all birthdays deserve at least some  celebration with loved ones.
Happy Birthday, anyway. Remind him about this year next year, and maybe you'll have more celebration and less sweat.

You keep that pretty smile on your face, and I'll bet you don't look a day older. gg
