Sometimes it is just hard to get started on things. I feel so lazy at times, actually all the time.
I don't remember if I shared the news. Brook won first place in the county for her category on her 4H project. She did it on the Water Cycle. At the end of this month she goes to the regional and compete there. I am proud of her.
Had fun plast night. The horses decided they were tired of a flooded pasture and barn. They decided to leave home. Late last night I get a call that my horses and goat were up the street. So I get dressed, put my mud boots on and head out. I got them home after first dragging through water half up to my knees trying to catch a stupid horse that STILL does not know which driveway is ours.( Not MY horse, it was Pat's horse. MY horse is perfect! LOLOLOL) I had a feeling it was going to be a long night. They got out again. This time they stayed in the yard. Pat put a rope up across the driveway to confine them for the night after he got home from work. Today they are still in the yard even though the fence is fixed. They are enjoying the fresh grass. I don't mind them in the yard. The chickens scratch up the poop so that is no problem. And frankly I enjoy looking out and seeing them.
I made pinto beans cooked with ham, and cornbread for dinner tonight. I had enough to share so I gave the kids some. I started cooking them last night in the crookpot. It makes the best beans. The house will be fragnant and musical for the next day or 2 LOL.
I am thinking I need to revisit Flylady I need to get a jump start again on this mess I am living in.
