It has been raining off and on since yesterday morning. This morning the sound of thunder rumbles in the distance. The rain is good and so necessary for the earth. It is not the hard, driving rain we had in the past weeks but the gentle rain the the ground welcomes and drinks its fill. I just heard a full minute and half of rumbling thunder, steadily breaking across the sky and then slowly faded into the distance. The lions of March are fighting to stay to the end. The lambs are being made to wait until the last minute to escort April in.

ReplyDelete... I can't wait to get my own place ... I have long believe in the beauty and benefits of having fresh flowers in the place ..!
ReplyDeleteI love having flowers here. I don't know why I don't have them more often. I think I will get some next time I'm at the store because I will be home a lot this next week recuperating.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish we'd have a bit of rain! Thunder would be heaven to me. We don't get thunder often even when it does rain.
Hope you have a good weekend.
Pam

ReplyDeleteI loved your description of the lions and the lambs; I remember the old saying of March coming in as a lamb, out like a lion and the other way around; living where I live in Southern Calif, we don't get many thunder/lightening storms; miss those from my Montana days
