Life goes on

Life goes on. I just look like the nerd I am. LOL I am a bit dorky looking anyway.

Tuesday night was the talent show at the school. Brook was looking good. (As usual)

Here she is doing a bo staff fighting sequence with Master Lee. The kids did real good.

Tonight starts her intense training for the black belt test again. She really needs to build up her legs. She is weak on kicks and part of the test involves breaking a number of boards with her foot. I believe 18-20. In all she will have to break 50 boards and 1 brick.

Ok the sun is shining and no rain is predicited for the next week. Crossing fingers the garden dries up!

Time to eat and get ready for Brook's class. I am going to walk while she is training. At least I will walk for at least 15 minutes.

    Great job, Brook!  50 boards and 1 brick???  
    I hope your garden is ready for you to start planting soon.  I was wanting to move some iris today, but our ground was just too wet.  It is so nice to see things budding out, though.

    Bo? That looks more like a jo, but it has been years....either way, she looks great and obviously is loving her training! I hope she sticks with it all the way. That training will be helpful to her at the oddest times!

    Glasses are such a pain in the, ummm, nose?  LOL  We go to America's, but we are lucky enough that the cheap-o glasses work for us.
