mints

Today has been fun. I got up this morning and iced a cake that I had baked last night. I baked a birthday cake for someone that cannot bake or does not have the time to bake, not sure which it is. Then I made 3 batches of mints. I love making mints! Roll up a bunch of balls, dip them in sugar and smash them in molds. Here is a picture of 3 of the mints I made.

Now I wonder if someone could help me. Everytime I add a picture using file manager, I cannot add it to my journal by using the add pictures from hometown feature. It seems that the file manager has changed my screen name to a capital letter! Any idea on how to fix it?

  1. The mints look great! You're far more ambitious then I am.  (not to mention I try never to go into the kitchen except to get the paper plates for take out).
The AOL file manager sucks. Try Photobucket.com. It's free, private and has never failed me yet. Just upload the photo and then copy/paste the "tag" portion into your journal. You can even resize your photos if you want. It's a couple more steps...but less agravation!

  9. My mom used to make wedding cakes and she always made the mints too.  It isn't my cup of tea, but I admire the handiwork of those who can do it.

  12. I havn't played with file manager so I don't know what to say.  I use FTP  or YGP still.  you may want to ask Joe the AOL Journal's Editor.  You can find his link when you type in key word Jounals.

    Much Love,
