OK,I am ready to talk a little

If female medical issues make you uncomfortable STOP READING NOW.

This past weekend was a wonderful weekend with my family. There was one dark cloud on the horizon. Friday evening I experienced something that a woman that has had a hysterectomy is not supposed to experience. Today I went to the doctor. The news was good and iffy. No polyps (been better if they were there). He does not think( from what he can see) that I have cervical cancer. It can not be ruled out. So we are waiting on those test results. He did see bleeding but can not see where it came from. He believes that it may be a result of reduced hormone production. He put me on a hormone cream. I pray that he is correct. There was also some pain which he believes may be scar tissue building back up. I had a great deal of scar tissue when I had my surgery.

I will be okay. I know I will. I have to be.

  5. That is the exact Cancer I had and I am still here and intend to be for a long time to come.  My cancer returned after six months so could not have another op. but had to have Radiotherapy - so dont worry too much because it can be cured. Wonderful things they can do today and mine was 20 years ago... Take care and think positive...Ally

  11. Celeste,
I know too well how scarey this can be, and all my telling you tonot be scared ain't worth a dime, because when it is YOU,  ell it is a heck of a lot different thn when it is someone else....so I will say this much...try, really try to have positive thoughts about this, ok? I had cervical pre-cancer cells in 1978 or so. I was so scared but I prayed and prayed too for God to hold me up through it. He did.
Please let us know how the tests turn out...and as of right now, you are in my prayers sugar...
    love ya,
    carlene
