Contentment

Contentment isn't getting what we want, but being satisfied with what we have.

How many can say they are truly content? Most people say they are and in the next breath talk about what they want.

  1. Good statement. Sometime when we get what we want it isn't what we thought we wanted at all. Paula

  4. I have fleeting moments of contentment. Most of those moments consisted of when my son was small and I'd spend a lot of time snuggling him. Occassionally, I'll still have a wave of contentment. But, it is shortlived. I wouldn't know what that is like to actually be content all of the time.

  5. Logically I know you are right but I`m never really as content as I should be...there I`ve said it....I must learn to enjoy what I`ve got.

  9. Perhaps a feeling of achievement makes some people feel content? So they always need to have something to reach for?
