What's new?

WOW 10 months has passed since I last blogged. Life has really been moving along since then. Where to start?. I am not going
to try to remember everything that has happened, I could write a book and bore everyone including me.So i will try to put it all in a nutshell.
May:turned 51, had motorcycle wreck and hurt head
June:started riding again, hot summer begins, played in APA city championship
July: still hot, saw fireworks, rode bike
Aug: Brook back to school, 7th grade, another wreck, still hot
Sept: Off to Florida for vacation, still hot
Oct: Halloween
Nov:Turkey day with just me and Pat, Black Friday
Dec:Christmas, New year
Jan: Pat turned 62
Feb: I am BACKKKKK
Now granted a lot more than that happened but I will leave it at that.

I have decided that if I want to live a while I have got to improve my health. One way is to lose weight. I do have a lot to lose. Let's just put it out there. On Feb 8th I weighed in at 200.3. Yeah OUCH. 60 pounds over what I need to weigh. I have no one to blaim but myself. I opened my mouth and put the food in. I am the one that sat in front of the computer and did nothing. That has changed.
I started working at out at a gym. Nothing fancy. Walking, riding bike, using weights. My workout varies depending on the time I have. 30 minutes to 2 hours. Now that I am getting used to going I will have to develope a routine. This could be fun. LOL I am up to walking 30 minutes at 2.5 mph. I am thinking of joining a yoga class for the stretching I need. The problem with that is the class is in the mornings and mornings are not a time I can just go anywhere I want. At least not yet. But that is another story another time.
good news is I weighed in this morning and I was 197.6. YAY me! I habe a feeling that might go up and down but I am really going to try to keep it going down.
