to much stuff

It has been too long since I posted. Not much and a lot has happened.

Easter came and we had a big crowd. Pat was disappointed that his daughter did not come. She blew him off by saying she had to work except I knew the store she worked at was closed on Easter. I did not tell Pat. He still feels that she blew him off. Anyway we had over 20 people here. Lots of food and fun. There was horseback riding and an egg hunt. We had 100 plastic eggs and 6 dozen dyed eggs. All was found except for 1 egg. I found a hen rolling it into her nest! LOL

The cardiac stress test came out fine. I had the myoview done. That is where they inject radioactive material in me to get a better picture. I got the results today. I was a bit upset as they did not fax results to my Doctor like they were supposed to do. So I am supposing that my chest pains were a result of stress.

I have been working on my garden. I have 3 rows of tomatoes planted. I also have bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, Brussels sprouts and broccoli planted. I am going to get seeds into the ground this week. That is, IF the ground is dry enough to re-till.

My lawnmower died. It made a loud booming backfire and now will not start. My weed eater died too. All I need to do was replace the fuel line and filter. But somebody decided that the carburetor needed looking at. So that is another dead piece of equipment. All these helpful people are creating more work for me.

I have had a leak in my kitchen sink forever. I finally fixed that myself, because somebody else fixed it and cracked the pipe.

Hot today! 80 degrees right now with sunshine!

My baby chicks are getting big. Out of a dozen I have eleven surviving. They are outside in a pen now. At night I am still putting them in the water through as the pen has no shelter yet. They also do not have the knack of perching yet. They still sleep bunched up in a pile.

Ok I am out of here. Need to do some work.

Did a chicken hawk pick off that one chick? LOL!

Don't you love when people help, and they leave more work than was there before they started 'helping'?
