Thursday

There are two ways to slide easily through life; to believe everything or to doubt everything. Both ways save us from thinking.
Alfred Korzybski (1879 - 1950)
Life sure has its own way of thumping you in the head or kicking you in the ass, whichever way you look at it. The twists and turns are almost like riding a bucking horse. One second you think you will last to the bell and the next second you are flying thru the air.
Things seem to be on an even keel here right now. I am pulling myself by the bootstraps and trying to keep the faith. Tomorrow is our 15th anniversary. I don't expect any remembrance of it. Actually, I do expect it but I doubt that it will happen.
I still have a cell phone. I just reactivated my old one. Nothing wrong with it and I can hear it ring, unlike my new one that broke. At least I can hear it when and if someone calls me.
I am proud of myself. I have not had any dirty clothes for 2 weeks now. Every morning and night I put the dirty clothes in the washer. When it is full I start it.  I have also been keeping the sink cleared out. Amazing at what you do when you have no one to talk to.What it is is if I leave here, dead or alive, I have decided that no one will be able to say that the house is not clean. I have been working on getting it in order. I need order in my life right now.
    Precious is doing good.
    Brook is doing good.

  1. Sometime things like keeping the sink cleared and the dirty clothes washed mean a lot and aren't the easiest things to keep up with -- so you should be proud.  Especially when we're going through something, it's things like that that take a lot of effort.  Hang in there, my friend.

  2. Celeste, I didn't get to wash the clothes Monday and by Wednesday, I had so many clothes that had piled up during the week! lol It took most of the day to wash and dry them all...but nothing like what my mama had to go through washing them on a scrub board...lol.
Hang in there Celeste...I can feel that things aren't no where near right right now and I am praying for them to turn around for you. Seems like me and Danny would have our worse times right around the time of our anniversaries..don't know why...but it always happened that way! DO some things for YOURSELF....we need to remember to treat our own selves with love sometimes....especially when there seems like there is no one else around to do so.
    God bless you.

  3. Laundry and dishes is all that I've been focusing on lately. That alone is a challenge...I can totally relate.
Hope you have a good weekend.

  4. When I was upset and left alone I used to go into super cleaning mode.  Now when I get really upset, I tend to hide in the PC or the Satelite or in sleep.  Three cheers for you!  Main thing is it sounds like you are doing something that validates you.  -  Barbara

  5. I hope soon to hear that Celeste is doing good and is again happy! I am keeping you in my thoughts.

My last phone was easier to hear than my new one - I wonder if they have changed the sounds to save money or something?

    xoxo
