1 down
One down and 3 to go. She passed! At one point , when they got a break, she came up to me crying that she was not passing. I just wanted to bundle her in my arms and take her home. I could not let her see my tears while I reassured her that she was doing good. She made mistakes but I think now she sees that she has to practice more. I am so glad that the first part is over. I sat there for 2 hours feeling like I was going to throw up.
It begins
Today is the day. Today is the day that Brook starts taking her black belt test. The first of four tests begins tonight. This is what she has been working towards for 3 years. This is why she has been taking extra classes. She wanted to be able to take her test with the same people that she has trained with for 3 years. Long time readers will recall that Brook has broken both wrists, here and here. The next year almost to the day she breaks her elbow in 4 places, here and here. Thsi year I almost wrapped her in bubble wrap. LOL I don't know who is more nervous, me or Brook.
